Capitol Lakes is looking for a manager to establish our Home Care department. The Home Care Manager is responsible for managing the operational aspects of the Home Care Program and, at times, providing care. The Manager provides leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the program has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to meet resident care needs and effectively grow the program to ensure operational efficiency and financial stability.We have excellent benefits and pay and offer a fun working environment!Responsible for all business operations, management and oversight related to in home services provided by Capitol Lakes.In conjunction with the Executive Director, establishes policies and standards for program operations.Work closely with Assisted Living RN to schedule assessments of new clients.Responsible for planning, coordinating and performing home care duties/services as required. Responsible for all department recruiting, hiring and onboarding including the training and supervision of Home Health Aides and auxiliary personnel rendering client care services.Performs marketing duties and fosters public relations for the home health component of Capitol Lakes, consults and plans with the Health Center and Assisted Living regarding needs of residents returning to their homes to ensure continuity of care.Conducts and documents resident assessments and reassessments, provides evaluation of resident/client?s medication regimen and the provision of medication and in-home services.One-year supervisory experience and experience in long-term care or in-home care preferred.Prior experience in a sales role is idealMust possess a genuine interest and compassion for the elderly.
