This is a full-time, permanent Lead Object Oriented Java Backend IoT and Cloud Software Engineer career opportunity at debt free industrial controls manufacturer that has never had a layoff. Sales have consistently grown between three to five percent annually. Whether it is for one component or an entire system; all hardware design, software development and manufacturing is done at the Madison area location. The company also provides Cloud services to customers.

This is a new position resulting from company growth. The position could eventually grow into a management role. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should be as follows:- Developing the full life cycle of the Java back-end from design the concept through implementation
- Working with a variety of back-end and front-end software development employees
- Using enterprise level and open source technology
- Working independently as well as with other members of a development team
- Creating the Application Programming Interface(s) and web services
- Writing and performing tests
- Four or more years of full life cycle Java back-end development experience
- Two or more years of object oriented software development experience
- Two or more years of SQL relational database experience
- Two or more years of software control system experience
- A four year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- A residence within 40 minutes of Madison
