Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will develop and implement strategic marketing plans to build awareness of our precision products and capabilities both domestically and internationally. This customer facing, working manager role collaborates cross functionally to support the organization’s strategic direction utilizing extensive experience and outside services. Scope includes leveraging technical leadership, PR, branding strategy, advertising, events/exhibits, collateral/sales tools production and digital communications platforms to convey the technical differentiators of Entrust products and capabilities to the marketplace. Working in close coordination with Entrust business leaders in Sales, Product Development, Engineering, Operations and Service will:

• Develop strategic marketing plans to support the organizations goals both domestically and internationally
• Clearly understand and articulate the technical differentiators of Entrust products and capabilities and capture these features in marketing materials (brochures, video, digital media, etc.)
• Provide strong in-house, hands-on capabilities by creating and maintaining exceptional marketing content, including digital and video development (capture, edit, and production), website design and social media activity and print media (design, layout, and production)
• Liaise with sales, PR teams, HR and legal as necessary for brand, message and legal compliance as related to marketing program activities and customer testimonials
• Manage agency relationships including program budget, purchase orders and invoice approvals
• Develop and present leading indicator scorecard metrics for marketing activity, presenting quarterly reports for marketing performance and budgets
• Manage and develop outside marketing services to meet capacity demands

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field plus 5+ years of experience in Marketing/Marketing Communication or related field or equivalent combination
• Industrial products acumen with interest in manufacturing technology, mechanics and controls with industrial/automation work history (engineering or technical background a plus) with intellect to identify critical functionality attributes of equipment to be highlighted in marketing output
• Proven ability to motivate, influence, work effectively and drive change with diverse, cross functional teams, multiple levels and outside vendors to produce exceptional results
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written English fluency (bilingual candidates English/Spanish or English/German a plus)
• Demonstrated success in innovating, developing and executing new ideas through collaboration
• Strong analytical and process skills. Strong organization and coordination skills for event planning
• Excellent knowledge of integrated communications strategy, media relations and the marketing mix (print, digital, events)
• Demonstrated capability with Photoshop, PremierPro, and InDesign.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and budgetary targets
• Domestic and international travel required (approximately 15%) for trade show attendance and customer site visits

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

• Regularly sits throughout day with extensive computer work, utilizing depth perception, peripheral vision and close focus
• Occasionally travels requiring long periods of sitting, lengthy standing at trade shows, and lifting, climbing and bending to capture photo/video content in an industrial setting
