Title: Guest Service Representative

Summary: Responsible for attending to the needs of guests, including check-in and check-out.

Essential Functions:

Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding to guest needs and concerns.

Provides information to guests about hotel policies, services and amenities.

Listens and responds to guests inquires, concerns and requests for assistance and information about the local area.

Handles guest check-in and check-out in an accurate and efficient manner.

Enters/changes reservation information on the hotel computer systems.

Processes payment from guest and posts charges to guest accounts.

Balances shift and cash drawer.

Operates hotel telephone console and uses good telephone etiquette.

Sells rooms to guests on the telephone and to "walk-ins".

Promotes hotel sales and revenue programs.

Maintains open communication with all hotel departments.

Understands and performs basic safety, security and emergency procedures of the hotel.

Assists different departments as needed.

Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Title: Room Attendant

Major Functions: Responsible for the cleanliness, arrangement and supply of guest rooms in an assigned area.

Essential Functions:

Cleans and returns vacant dirty rooms to a vacant ready status and occupied dirty rooms to an occupied room status. Cleaning includes lighting fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets. Will receive inspections by supervisor and must corrects any deficiencies noted.

Must be able to bend, twist, lift, and stand for the shift worked. Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs while working.

Keep cart stocked and organized. Assists with special cleaning projects and in laundry when needed.

Completes maintenance requests as needed for items which need repair.

Ability to interact with guests in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner. Reports any guest complaints to supervisor immediately.

Timely reports and returns Lost and Found items for proper processing.

Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures, and follows all key control procedures.

Provides the highest quality of service to guests at all times.

Wears proper uniform and name tag at all times.

Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management.

Title: Maintenance Engineer

Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in order to keep the hotel in compliance with the company and governments standards for functionality, cleanliness, safety, and security.

Essential Functions:

Maintains the basic upkeep of all rooms and common areas by ensuring all furniture, appliances and electrical equipment such as televisions, refrigerators, and light fixtures are in working order.

Ensures all paint and flooring meet company standards

Repairs or replaces all HVAC systems such as individual air conditioning units as needed.

Cleans and maintains the hotels exterior spaces such as the parking lot, swimming pool, landscaping, etc.
