Academic Preschool Teacher (Oak Creek/Franklin, WI)
Our state-licensed Fine Arts Preschool is looking for an Academic Preschool Teacher and/or Director based upon qualifications.
Our established performing arts academy is located in Oak Creek. We offer private music lessons, group dance classes, and an academic preschool. We encourage a creative, fun, and energetic work environment - the commitment we ask of our instructors and staff is that they are friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking.
Position Start Date: December 2019
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-12:00pm
Office Hours: Could be 1-2 hours per month to meet/plan with our other teacher.
Additional Information:
Our school is closed for winter breaks, spring breaks etc. Our school year schedule starts in September and ends before Memorial Day. Our program is unique as we spend the last 30 minutes of each day having a dance/creative movement class or a music class. You will not be teaching the dance portion as we have a dance teacher to teach this part. Our space is licensed to have 12 children per day.
Teachers are responsible for:
Creating and submitting lesson plans with our other teacher (some classes are based on established curriculum)
Delivering quality instruction to students aged 3-5
Prepare the room for class each morning and clean up after the students.
Attend staff meetings and workshops as required
We have two locations, Oak Creek and Franklin, and are a family and community-oriented studio with large recreational and competitive programs.
