What You Will Do: Perform administrative and clerical duties in support of an assigned clinical area.

  • Greet patients and visitors, answer general inquiries, and schedule patients for appointments. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls. Perform general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Create various reports and documents.
  • Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
  • Perform unit safety checks. Assist with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.
  • May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules.
  • May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
