Job Description

The HRIS Analyst provides functional and technical support for the global Human Resource Information System (HRIS) function. Under direction of the HRIS & HR Shared Services Manager, this position performs system support as it relates to all HR technology – core HR, time and attendance, recruiting, on-boarding, compensation, talent management, benefits, and reporting and analytics. This position will also provide superior customer service by collaborating with HR Partners and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of new global HR technology solutions, enhancements to existing systems, and continuous process improvements.
  • Gathers, defines and implements system requirements, including but not limited to preparing and executing functional and technical specifications, test plans, system testing, and development of processes and procedures.
  • Performs basic to advanced system configurations including system tables, business processes, workflows, notifications, user security, interfaces and report writing.
  • Develops and delivers basic and advanced reports in a variety of formats as needed to support the business.
  • Configures and maintains user security roles and maintains user access. Ensures roles are created properly and contain the proper access to HR systems while implementing safeguards to ensure data privacy.
  • Serves at tier 1 support - addressing questions, troubleshooting and resolving issues and monitoring interface run statuses. Escalates issues to the HRIS Manager.
  • Performs day-to-day operations, maintenance, and functionality for HR systems, including but not limited to system upgrades, troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolving issues.
  • Acts as a liaison for multiple vendor relationships.
  • Potential to service as a back-up to the Payroll Manager for processing U.S and Canadian payroll as needed.
  • Total Rewards analysis support, including but not limited to: running and auditing associate benefit eligibility reports, assisting with annual open enrollment (testing and audits), monthly ACA reporting, annual 401k and pension audits, annual benefit and compensation compliance and audit assistance.
  • Provides training delivery to peers, HR team and end-users on system functionality, process changes, new enhancements or modifications so system usability is understood. Responsible for training documentation creation.
  • Helps drives the adoption of best practices and global system usage.
  • Ensures HR systems support global regulatory compliance, legal and governmental regulations.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry best practices and HR technology. Incorporates best practices, benchmarks and tools into the companies HR processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Experience and Skill Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or HR
  • 1 year+ experience with HR Technology required in one or more of the following areas: HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation, Talent Management, Time & Attendance, Learning, Report Writing
  • Strong Customer Focus
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, accuracy, problem-solving, critical thinking
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with team members from various business functions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to non-technical audience
  • Experience with ADP, time and attendance systems, SmartRecruiters, ClickBoarding or SumTotal a plus
