Position Overview:

Are you search-obsessed, analytical, strategic yet focused on execution and passionate about eCommerce? We are seeking an all-star SEO Specialist to join our innovative digital team. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has had hands-on experience growing traffic from organic search through on-page and off-page strategies, and is a master of the long-tail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Create a robust search engine optimization strategy for our North America websites, including a roadmap of initiatives to drive growthLead keyword research and maintain targets with up-to-date volumes and competitionOptimize on-page SEO: landing page ideation, keyword gap analysis to take advantage of whitespace opportunity, metadata optimization and redirectsWork with technology teams to optimize site infrastructure for crawlers including schema markup, javascript crawlability and site speedCollaborate with cross-functional business partners (Site Merchandising, Engineering, UX, Design and Product) to implement SEO best practices, and leverage cross-functional insights in planning and program developmentOversee backlink strategy by ensuring maximum coverage, identifying new opportunities and rectifying unlinked mentionsDevelop scalable SEO strategies that can cross multiple brandsDive into issues and incidents as they occur, perform ad hoc analyses as needed, and/or help escalate them to drive to resolutionLearn and be curious to stay on top of trends and best practices; stay up to date with whtie hat and gray hat SEO tactics to stay within search engine guidelinesAdvocate for a seamless user experience for customers who are finding us through search

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

3+ years experience of firsthand search engine optimization experience, increasing traffic and revenue3+ years experience using web analytics and SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, SEOMoz, etc.)2+ years experience in eCommerce

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Able to effectively communicate complex issues to leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challengesProactive, positive, self-starter attitude and ability to work independently with minimal direction/guidanceProven SEO strategies targeted towards BingSEO experience dealing with the following: products, long tail keywords, content article research, hreflang and link buildingStrong attention to detail with outstanding ability to think creatively to solve problemsStrong organizational, time management, and analytical skillsExperience with data science (SQL, visualizations, etc.) practices to identify SEO growth opportunitiesKnowledge in HTML, JavaScript, robots.txt, XML sitemaps and schemaExperience working in the B2B industrial goods space
