RG19412Position: IT Architect - Dynamics 365 MRP & Supply ChainLocation: Milwaukee, WICompensation: $110,000 - $120,000 + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits + Paid RelocationJob Description:The IT Architect - D365 MRP & Supply Chain will lead and participate in the discovery, definition, design, and deployment of initiatives in concert with other IT and business resources. You will work closely with developers and business analysts to deploy scalable and sustainable enterprise-level applications, interfaces, and reporting that meet business needs based on documented requirements under normal supervision. You will also participate in the design, development, implementation, and ongoing use of internal processes for IT Service Management (ITSM) incident, problem and change management.Responsibilities:Provides architectural framework for special projects to drive organizational growth and continuous improvement in the following areas: Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain Planning, Planning Optimization (MRP), Schedule Adherence, Inventory Accuracy, Transportation Spend.Defines, develops and executes test plans to validate process changes through unit testing and end-to-end integration testing.Assists users and provides ad-hoc training where needed in all aspects of MRP functionality.Works closely with users and business leaders to develop use case, design specifications, and testing scenarios to ensure the successful deployment of new or changed functionality.Plays integral role in learning, training, and implementation of MRP with business users in Dynamics365.Utilizes the IT Service Desk system to record, track, document, and resolve user issues.Collects and analyzes data to improve the company’s Supply Chain operations, and reports results and opportunities for improvement to IT and departmental leadership.Identifies, participates in and leads departmental process improvement projects to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance business unit and IT strategic goals.Fully embraces IT Problem and Change Management in concert with other IT teams to reduce risk, minimize downtime to the business, and communicate changes to stakeholders.Identifies, participates in and leads cross-functional process improvement projects to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance business unit and IT strategic goals.Researches new technologies and applications as they may apply to the MRP, Supply Chain and Operations business functions, and makes recommendations for implementation to senior management. Leads the development of solution architectures in MRP, Supply Chain and Operations infrastructure and functional areas. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, MIS or a related field. Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics365. Extensive knowledge of ERP MRP applications and how they work for functional areas such as Finance, Order Management, Warehouse/Inventory and Reporting. 5+ years of IT experience with AX2012 / Dynamics365 in MRP / Planning Optimization & Supply Chain.Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information in an understandable manner to those not experienced in IT. Ability to communicate business processes and technical processes based on the audience. Demonstrated ability to work with functional leaders and team members to discover, document, design and implement business processes in an Dynamics365 ERP/MRP application platform.Strong planning and organizational skills.The ability to prioritize work and respond quickly as necessary to address changing priorities.Ability to work independently and effectively.Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Preferred Skills:Business experience working with CPG or food manufacturing, supply chain, and co-manufacturing businesses.Experience implementing Dynamics365 MRP (Planning Optimization) in a CPG, food manufacturing, or process manufacturing environment.Aptitude for identifying and documenting process improvement recommendations.Advanced skills and experience working in Microsoft Excel.
