Schedule:This position is a on-site Full Time NIGHT opportunity, working 3-12's (7PM - 7AM) and rotating weekendsWhat You Will DoAre you a person who enjoys helping others while making a difference in healthcare? In this important role with Ascension, you will be part of the Patient Surveillance Team, dedicated to putting the safety and well-being of our patients first. Your Key Attributes: Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Strong customer service background.
Works well independently and on a team.
Your Primary Duties:
Monitors patients by use of video monitors.
Communicates and/or instructs patients by use of 2-way audio device.
Notifies clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
Completes documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.
What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider preferred.
Education:High school diploma or GED required.
Additional PreferencesPrior healthcare experience preferred
