- Collaborates with end users to understand business requirements; develops analysis to map to existing data assets and develops a plan for weekly, monthly and quarterly report fulfillment.
- Provides reports to all departments that support operational, financial, and sales processes
- Create data visualizations including charts, graphs, and reports
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
- Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department
- Collects and analyzes data for standard reporting, ad-hoc reporting and miscellaneous reports requested.
- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
- Support various departments, including Sales and Client Services, in reaching their goals through analysis
- Collaborate both internally and externally to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet the expectations of internal customers.
- Ensure data collection is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into the impact and value of new initiatives.
- Acts as a key project/workgroup team member, specifically in value identification and measurement, requirements definition and testing activities.
- Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
- Assists in creating documentation of business processes, training procedures, and standard operating procedures.
- BS Degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
- 2 years progressive experience in an analytical environment.
- Basic knowledge of database tools, MSSQL Server 2000/2005/2008 and TSQL is required
- Expert knowledge of MS Office Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Possesses high attention to detail and is a quick learner
- Values efficiency, precision, and accuracy.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical or business oriented team members.
- Strong quantitative skills (mathematics and statistical)
