Description:70% Lab and 30% Production. InspectionsLine checks on the floor. Will assist with GMP audits/daily walk-throughs. Help verify COAs based on analysis data and check quality paperwork. May do more project work as they get to know things. Like: Setting up experiments, putting together testing plan. Take a cart of bottles and adjusting the rack, moving older items off. (Shelf-life checks Retain library) Laboratory work will consist of: total acidity, weight, pH, Brix, temperature checks. Strong attention to detail is important. Need to be comfortable performing repetitive tasks and staying attentive while doing so. A lot of the position will consist of line checks, QA Paperwork and inspections.Will check in with the tech from the previous shift. They will do rounds: Going to each label line, case packer, filler, checking paperwork, verifying product and doing inspections. Will troubleshoot anything quality errors.If sanitation had been done, will go check sanitation. COAs, filing paperwork, lab cleanup.3rd shift: 11pm-6amSkills:haacp, food safety, quality control, quality assurance, biology, chemistryAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in the Sciences 6 months experience in a laboratory environmentORHS Diploma with experience in quality in food manufacturing6 months experience in food safety.About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
