Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Experience in hotel/club/banquet/event setup is preferred
Experience in general maintenance work preferred
Will train the right candidate
Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
Ability to read English to follow setup instructions for clubhouse rooms and events
Audio-Visual setup knowledge is helpful (e.g. sound & mixing boards, screen & projection setup, and conference speakerphones)
Knowledge of how to maintain, clean and preserve a wide variety of building furniture, equipment and surfaces
Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies, using only as directed
Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs
Job Summary
Reports to Facilities Manager and Food & Beverage Manager. Responsible for room setup and maintenance of all club facilities.
Job Tasks/Duties
Set up all rooms for daily dining event business including tables, chairs, and A/V equipment
Clean select areas of the clubhouse and empty trash and recycling
Clean and maintain member and employee athletic facilities, locker rooms, and restrooms
Clean patio area, sweeping and dusting patio furniture
Maintain outside of clubhouse (e.g. lawn mowing, snow shoveling, walkway and entrance upkeep)
Maintain A/V equipment inventory and storage room
Clean and polish brass around exterior of building
Clean, wash, and maintain Club's vehicle fleet
Painting and touch-up work around the clubhouse
Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools on an incidental basis
Clean walls and floors throughout the clubhouse
Wash windows, shampoo carpets, and other cleaning projects as necessary
Reports any damage or potential equipment or building problems to management
