We have an opportunity available for an experienced Public Relations professional to support the business development and marketing teams. The Corporate Communications Leader will be responsible for building and maintaining a positive image for the firm, and developing and distributing content for key campaigns, including press releases, and articles for local and national publications. The successful candidate will develop and cultivate internal working relationships, prioritize multiple deadlines on an analogous schedule, and help creatively tell stories using exceptional graphics and words. The Corporate Communications Leader will also support the business development team by assisting in the development of marketing strategies, tactics, and tools related to client maintenance and new business development.

Primary responsibilities of our Corporate Communications Leader include:

  • Work with technical staff to develop content to position our team as thought leaders, and manage article pitches and placement

  • Build and maintain relationships with media personnel at both local and national trade publications
  • Keep abreast of latest business news, market trends, researching target markets, and communicating critical highlights to business development team
  • Plan and execute market area business plans

  • Coordinate trade shows and implement lead generating strategies

In order to be considered for our Corporate Communications Leader position, we are considering candidates who possess the following basic qualifications:

  • A bachelor s degree in Journalism, PR, Communications, Marketing, Advertising or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of public relations and editorial experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail

  • Ability to think both creatively and strategically
