Position: Server Support Lead

Job Description:JD for Server Admin:Good experience in Windows, Linux, Active Directory and Azure.Windows Support:•Daily maintain the WSUS Antivirus server for new client and status of approved patches•Resolving Server issues, and update hardware requirement•Operate running systems including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping Virtual machines and controlling services•Manage file system permissions for users and groups, create and apply policies•Group Policy Management (Domain and OU specific policy)•Maintain and monitor software and hardware related issues•Policy updates and monitoring•Set repository, Install, update and remove packages•Knowledge on working remotely with security•Manage network printers, file sharing•Deploy, configure and maintain systems, including software and core services•Manage security including basic firewall and Linux configuration•Create and configure file system and attributes such as permissions, access controls list, encryptions and network file system•Knowledge on writing scriptsLinux Support:•Manage File system permissions for users and groups, create and apply policies•Resolving Server issues, scheduling Cron and AT jobs•Operate running systems including booting into different run levels, identifying processes, starting and stopping Virtual machines and controlling services•Configure local storage using LVM, partitions and logical volumes•Policy updates and monitoring•Set repository, Install, update and remove packages•Knowledge on working remotely without GUI and understanding of SSH•Manage network printers, file sharing, NFS, SAMBA, Shell scripts•Deploy, configure and maintain systems, including software and core services•Manage security including basic firewall and Linux configuration•Create and configure file system and attributes such as permissions, access controls list, encryptions and network file system•Provide assistance to L1 issues on need basisActive Directory•Deep knowledge on Active Directory architecture, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, patch management •Strong understanding Certificate Management / Windows Server Management / Exchange / O365•Strong Virtualization and cloud knowledge •AD group policy management, group policy tools and troubleshooting GPO alerts •Strong Record of successful performed Active Directory migrations•Hands-On experience in with Microsoft Active Directory administration•Migration of Active directory roles•Create, Manage & delete AD Trust relation ships •Expertise in Migration Using Quest Migration Manager Tool for Active Directory.•Deploy and Manage Quest Migration Manager for AD and QMM agents for Server Migration•Knowledge of ports required for communication of servers and Active directory domain controllers•Manage AD object replication between Source and Destination Domains•Hands-On on Domain to Domain Server Migration.•Hands-On experience with migrating Group Policy Objects•Hands-On Microsoft Exchange mailbox migration experience, scheduling migration batches and process management.•Experience with PowerShell scripts to Create/edit/delete objects in bulk.•Experience with DNS Administration•Experience with Managing AD Sites and Services•Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)•Develop Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for various build, migration & Decommission processes•Increase automation of build & Decommission process / reduce build & Decommission cycle timeAzure Support:•Create/Modify/Manage subnet, route tables and NACL•Launch/Delete VM instances•Create/Delete/Sync storage Blob•Attach/Detach Volumes•Create/Attach/Detach Auto scaling group, Load Balancer, Managed Disk and VM Images•Manage Password/MFA and Create User/Group Policies•Create Health checks, alarms and roles•Setup auto scaling with load balancer•Create/Manage Bastion VM and Manage/Analyzing Log metrics•Manage access keys and Managing security certificates•Editing DNS records and domain configurations•Creating templates for default VM•Disassociate VNET with hosted zone•Update health checks•Launch/Terminate SQL/MySQL services
