We are hiring for production operators to work in our Neenah, Wisconsin location. We offer competitive wages, paid vacation, holidays and 401k company match. We currently have openings on 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am).

Our pay rates are highly competitive with starting pay at $19.55/hr. plus an additional $1.00/hr shift differential

General Operations Responsibilities:

  • Health andSafety: Consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workersand manufacturing systems.Perform general housekeeping tasks and waste removal within department / group and assistother areas, as required.
  • Enterprise Lean Sigma (ELS): Continuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product / process quality and reduce waste, reworkand unnecessary work that adds no value to the work or process. Support safety, qualityand continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Teamwork: Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility. Contribute and participate in team decision making. Provide support in project work and other special requests.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Tend manual, automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production / processing operation.
  • Follow production / process specifications or instructions of higher level technical personnel and monitormeters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressuresand related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production / process specifications.
  • Setup machine, requiring a high level of precision and the interaction of multiple variables.
  • Loadraw material into machine, determineand control the machine cycle, varying and modifying as necessary. Unload finished product.
  • Check work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled.
  • Perform tests and check product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices and making some judgments against standards that are not readily measurable.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and makeminor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Maintainproduction records and logs of equipment and product performance.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
  • Jobs may be of short, medium or long duration, requiring frequent change in set up and variation in cycle.
  • Adjusts set up and process operations accordingly.
  • Practice all health and safety procedures, policies and practices.
  • Attend all required safety training.
  • Understands and implements those ISO9000 procedures that relate to the role and responsibilities of a production operator.
  • Any other duties necessary to complete mixing, packaging and labeling in the Ink department.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diplomaor equivalent required.

Skills /Experience:

  • 0-2+ years of previous experience.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Good ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems
  • Good experience with, or ability to learn, multiple functions within facility.
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment with a highly participative work system.
  • Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, mechanical / technical aptitude and logical problem solving skills necessary.
  • Able to work independently in a safe and timely manner.
  • Must be motivated towardproductivity improvements, safety and quality awareness.
