Title: Sr. ADAS Software Engineer Location: Oshkosh, WI (onsite only) Duration: Full Time Keywords: Embedded C/C, C# Python, robotics, computer vision, radar and/or LIDAR perception Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Researches, studies, and proposes use of new technologies to be used in the development and application of new and improved products, systems, processes and capabilities.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical issues.
- Communicate project objectives to team members.
- Enforce the proper use of engineering criteria and standards. Ensure technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures.
- Evaluate mechanical, electrical, software and system designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
- Develop detailed requirements and comprehensive test plans.
- Direct support of suppliers and test programs to include travel to off-site locations as necessary to accomplish assigned engineering programs
- Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and build support.
- Analyze and resolve issues reported to Engineering via verbal or written communication.
- Provide direction to designers and drafters regarding engineering analysis.
- Establish priorities for work delegated to others.
- Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.
- Able to obtain a secret security clearance as required by job duties
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of related experience or internship experience
- Potential travel 30% of time
- Experience with robotics, computer vision, radar and/or LIDAR perception
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of vehicles and related systems
- Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent system engineering skills
- Model-based programming experience
- C/C/C# programming experience
- Experience with tactical radio implementation and integration
- Experience with ISO-26262 standard
- Experience with GPS and Inertial Measurement Units
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
