Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer for a contract or permanent working with a Logistics company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Position is onsite.

Description: Uncover your full potential in a collaborative environment where you'll design, develop and deliver custom solutions to big challenges. And you'll be doing it for a proven industry leader that runs one of the largest e-commerce sites in the U.S.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement and support software applications.
  • Create and maintain user interface patterns and standard library.
  • Implement Java solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Maintain code quality through unit testing.
  • Document code.
  • Work on software development lifecycle from beginning of product lifecycle through release of application.
  • Technical Environment: Java, J2EE, JSF, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Web Services (SOAP,REST), Jira, Jenkins, XML, XSD, JSON, Tomcat, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate, Eclipse, WAS, Maven, Putty, GIT.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus two years of experience in the job offered or with software development required.
  • Required Skills: Java, J2EE, Spring, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Jenkins, XML, XSD, JSON, Spring Boot, Eclipse, WAS, GIT.
  • (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or any Engineering field plus 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or with software development also acceptable.)
