We do 5 Axis milling, Turning and Wire EDM work on small parts with micron level tolerances.
We have two Zeiss programmable CMMs and Mitutoyo CMM, Video inspection systems, and the usual gauges, micrometers etc. A fully equipped, climate control isolated quality room.
We are seeking someone with prior experience in a CNC Machine shop.
You must meet the requirements below:
1. It is a working manager role. You will be expected to check parts along with two other inspectors and also manage/supervise them.
2. Full comprehension of GD&T.
3. Experienced with ISO 9001:2015 systems
3. Preferred experience with Zeiss Calypso software - optical and touch probe systems.
4. Experience with working with high tolerance small run parts, commonly holding 2 to 5 micons
for tolerances.
5. Experience with hard gaging and granite plate inspection. Knowledge on how to check parts in alternative ways besides CMM.
