About the team:

The team focusses on support and maintenance of multi-tier applications and its infrastructure. Involved in development of IT Infrastructure projects within FIS. The infrastructure of information technology comprises of hardware systems, operating systems, software, network connections, servers, etc.,

What you will be doing:
  • Developing program logic for new applications and modifying logic in existing applications.
  • Coding, debugging, implementing, and maintaining software applications.
  • Maintaining and integrating new application components.
  • Perform upgrades and buildouts to latest version of application infrastructure components
  • Handle Disaster recovery and Auto failover procedures
  • Ensuring deployment of system improvements.

What you bring:
  • A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles.
  • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines.
  • Experience in JAVA and LINUX based applications.
  • Experience of Unix/Linux based applications, including a very good knowledge in Unix/Linux commands.
  • Experience in Oracle & SQL Server Database
  • Experience in WebSphere 8.5 and above is preferred.
  • Knowledge in ServiceNow (SNOW), Dynatrace, Splunk, TEP required
  • Knowledge on Bit Bucket, JENKINS, REST Webservices are preferred.
  • Knowledge in Networking/load balancer concepts
  • Experience within structured Ticketing Management environment (Incident Ticket, Problem ticket, Change ticket and Service Request)
  • Analyze Application logs, troubleshoot issues, determine action, and ensure -Application Environments work smoothly
  • Application change assessment and validation during change windows over the week and weekend.
  • Good Interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Added bonus if you have:
  • Experience in Automation and performance tuning are preferred
