Summary

Duties

  • Responsible for assisting the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities
  • Provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum
  • Utilizing practices as outlined in the Program's philosophy and Creative Curriculum
Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; and
  • Two courses in Early Childhood Education through an institute of higher education (Program will allow staff to obtain these two courses within the first six months of hire as part of their probationary period)
  • Six months related work experience working directly with children is preferred.
Program will provide the opportunity for staff to obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and provide training for abusive head trauma prior to working in the center.

  • This position does require a U.S. work authorization.
  • At this time CAP Services cannot sponsor a work visa for candidates.
