Summary

Duties

  • Responsible for the supervision of infant children
  • For preparing and conducting weekly lesson plans which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum
  • For on-going assessment of children, and for maintaining compliance with all related regulations.
Requirements

  • Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5; OR Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or working toward completion, with two years of experience working directly with children ages 0-5
  • Copy of unofficial transcripts or a Registry Certificate or class certificate.
  • Program will provide the opportunity for staff to obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and provide training for abusive head trauma prior to working in the center.
Starting Pay: CDA:

$13.53-$14.75 per hour, depending on experience

Associates Degree: $14.14-$14.75 per hour, depending on experience
