Description: The Sourcing Leader role is pivotal in driving savings, cost avoidance and efficiencies through management of supplier base. The role collaborates with GEHC Global Sourcing Leaders, SBU Leaders and their teams. The candidate uses prior experience/expertise to execute functional strategy; leverages in-depth understanding of business strategy and stakeholder customer service to accomplish work. This role is best suited for a self-driven, proactive candidate who possesses technical and analytical skills sets as demonstrated with a track record to solve problems with a focus on continuous improvement. This role will be primarily focused on supporting complex industrial CAPEX/Plant & Equipment project engagements; ground up construction, procurement management, of new manufacturing plants/existing plan expansions inclusive of sourcing expertise spanning general contractors, architects, designers, engineers, manufacturing equipment, ancillary infrastructure ( i.e., furniture & fixtures] etc. The role will support the Global CAPEX Sourcing Manager and will also support the USCAN CAPEX sourcing leader on CAPEX equipment and construction Agreements with additional support of the the USCAN MRO and Facilities/Utilities Sourcing Leaders on any assigned projects where support is requested; however primary responsibility will be focused on the new construction and site expansion projects. AND In addition to the above, key responsibilities include:AccountabilityEffective Communication both verbal and writtenDevelopment and negotiation of NDA'sDevelopment and issuance of RFPsEnsuring project deliverables and orders are on track with suppliersAttending or coordinating project meetings as scheduledCompleting project trackers as requiredDeveloping and negotiating contracts with suppliers in collaboration with sourcing, legal and project team(s)Assessing, identifying and mitigating risk associated with project.Partnering with existing Sourcing leaders to support categories through GEHC separation; Including contracts mitigationPartnering with key business stakeholders to support the needs of the business.Develops solutions and delivers on priorities for the designated scope.Maintains metrics for sourcing scope and identifies new areas of opportunity to deliver or exceed targets.Implement Indirect Sourcing strategy within the contractor position's agreed scope and in line with global initiatives.Owns achieving Indirect savings targets, leading, and running project execution across their scopeResponsible for risk management in supplier base ensuring all compliance and quality standards are met.Liaise with stakeholders and Sourcing colleagues across the organization to understand /share best practices and leverage expertise.Identify and own local and cross SBU supply base. Leverage category contracts into assigned SBU to maximize opportunities.Drive business metrics affected by indirect Sourcing, identify new areas of cost out and implement operating efficiency.Provide feedback and support to other Sourcing Leaders.Interface with SBUs and other GE Businesses on cross business projectsProvide appropriate contract coverage for programs, goods and services. Be proficient in executing the GEHC legal templates and negotiating terms and conditions, service levels and total cost pricing with suppliers.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 5 years of work experience in sourcing or procurement, or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with comparable business support or Finance/Business with technical support with a minimum 4 years of work experience in Supply Chain.5+ years of Sourcing/contracting SME experience using the assigned commodity CLM Platforms, services with a technical depth/knowledge in the subject matter area.Excellent communication skills (virtual, written & verbal).Strong contract and SOW development and with quantitative & commercial analysis driving supplier selection and negotiations.Understanding & Competency of the U.C.C.
