Business Analyst- Data
Position Description CGI is seeking a Business Analyst with Retail Banking experience to join our implementation team building the next generation of banking technology working with all levels within our client organization.Your future duties and responsibilities Responsible to work with various business users to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes. Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business systems. Responsible for following appropriate standards and requirement gathering. Formulates proposals for new systems, procedures and/ or processes. Conducts tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation. Acts as a liaison with subsidiary management and staff to resolve issues as needed. Provides ongoing technical support for specialized applications. Applies various analytical tools and software application experience to increase quality, productivity, and overall effectiveness of user's applications. Assists in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems. Performs project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member. Other duties as assigned.Required qualifications to be successful in this role• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related fields.• Ability to work with XML schemas, JSON, relational data models, SoapUI. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken evidenced by the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.• Demonstrated ability to operate and deliver in a demanding and high-pressure milestone driven environment.• Experienced in enterprise application integration, middleware technologies, data migrations and conversions, database technologies and backend interfaces,• Experience in a large-scale IT organization with complex systems environment & infrastructure.• Experience or familiarity with master data management systems, SAFe framework, Microsoft ADO, Trisyn RCIF systems is a plus.• Familiarity with industry standard integration patterns such as webservices (SOAP, REST),• In-depth understanding of application development, technologies, and software development lifecycles (both legacy and current).• Strong business process and systems analysis background, with at least 2 years spent working with agile methodologies preferably in banking.• You must want to be part of a motivated and driven team and work with respected leaders. We need someone who is self-driven, proactive, has a growth mindset, Can-do attitude, is confident, and wants to inspire others to achieve bank initiatives.Est.
