Holtger Bros., Inc. is offering up to a $4000 sign-on and working bonus for a foreman with experience in telecommunications utility construction.
HBI is a family-owned and operated telecommunications contractor that has been in business since 1946. We are based in Green Bay, WI, and have employees that live and work throughout the state. We proudly work year-round and are continually growing and looking to add skilled workers and supervisors to our team.
FOREMAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervising the work crew consisting of 2-3 crew members.
-Planning the most efficient and effective work order in order to perform tasks on a daily and weekly basis
-Identifying, communicating, and troubleshooting problems on the job site
-Executing quality work
-Creating and ensuring a positive, professional company image on the job site.
FOREMAN REQUIREMENTS:
-A minimum of 2-years' experience in utility construction/telephone cable placement as a manager/foreman/HDD operator
-Ability to read and understand telephone and CATV prints
-Willing to travel throughout Wisconsin (Primarily Northeast WI) Monday-Friday and be home weekends
-An insurance-acceptable driver's license- Class A CDL preferred/able to obtain
-Previous training in utility safety standards
-Strong management skills with the ability to lead crews and assure customer satisfaction
-Ability to complete required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
-Excellent communication and organizational skills
