We are looking for
Platform Engineer for our client in Wauwatosa, WI Job Title: Platform Engineer Job Location: Wauwatosa, WI Job Type: Contract Job Description:- The 3rd party platform engineer will lead the operations, change management and maintenance of the applications used to enable Enterprise Third Party Security team. serve as the primary point of contact for multiple applications.
- Candidates will also support the business unit security leaders by understanding their application requirements and partner with them to evaluate the feasibility, prioritize the requests and implement enhancements.
- Responsible for the implementation of maintenance activities, upgrades, and additional configuration enhancements of the current applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve the issues experienced by the users of the application(s).
- Train end users of the applications on existing processes, new enhancements, and other changes.
- Ensure day-to-day operations of the applications run smoothly.
- Work with business unit security leaders to gather and prioritize application requests.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts of existing processes within the application to enhance the application experience of the end user.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Cyber Security experience is preferable.
- Team player with strong technical skills in IT platform management, software implementation, data analysis and problem-solving.
- Experience with GRC solutions (RSAM, Archer, Upguard, ServiceNow, Galvanize, etc.).
- Experience with Third Party Risk Management solutions is a plus.
- Industry-recognized security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA a plus.
- Ability to take input from multiple stakeholders and quickly determine the appropriate solution and then drive desired outcomes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Able to communicate appropriately to technical and management audiences.
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of recognized IT security related standards and technologies.
- Experience in large global environments spanning multiple time-zones.
