Job Description:
Serves as a Construction Manager preforming construction management tasks for Veterans Administration Cemetery Expansions. Place of Duty will be Cheyenne Wyoming. Work includes but not limited to, joint inspections with the contractor, in accordance with the General Requirements of the specifications. Prepare daily reports of construction activity. Schedule and conduct bi-weekly progress meetings. Submittal and scheduling review, materials receiving and electronic record keeping. Conduct detailed field investigations to completely understand project conditions and diagnose issues to determine causes and provide recommended solutions for resolutions. Preform quality assurance inspections as a representative of the client, document construction activities and progress in accordance with plans and observe contractor quality control inspections and testing. Research and provide recommended responses to Requests for Information (RFI) client’s construction agents. Field verify as built drawings and update record files to correct deficiencies. Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and written and experience in preparing technical correspondence, written reports and briefing leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
10 years of construction related field experience, or a B.S. in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
Desired Experience:
Construction Management Experience with federal, state, or local government contracts

Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 /hour
