Program Manager - EnergyLos Angeles, CAJob DescriptionICF is adding staff to its California energy practice to support a wide range of energy programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government organizations. We are currently seeking a Program Manager to provide critical project management services for California statewide electrification efforts.Key Responsibilities
Manage a multi-functional project team comprised of technical/engineering, IT, program operations, account management and marketing specialists (some ICF internal staff and some subcontractors) to ensure timely and professional completion of all tasks and achieve specific program performance indicators and goals.
Develop strategies to influence market adoption of electrification strategies.
Manage budgets, people, and subcontractors to meet financial targets.
Proactively develop and implement solutions to meet changing market needs.
Track and report program status to ICF management and to client
Continue to enhance and expand ICF’s energy practice throughout California.
Prioritize program activities as necessary to meet performance goals.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience developing and managing successful customer-facing energy programs.
Knowledge of electric end-use equipment such heat pump water heaters and electric vehicle charging equipment
Experience managing consulting projects with public sector clients, including providing quality control and budget accountability.
Experience with commercial and residential end-user characteristics and markets
Preferred Skills/Experience
Consulting experience managing projects for clients and conducting business development and writing proposals.
Familiarity and experience with energy management technologies and strategies including demand response and distributed energy resources.
Experience leading and managing cross functional teams of professionals.
Experience working with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractors.
Familiarity with California legislative/regulatory energy policy for the residential and/or commercial sector
Knowledge of the various market partners and channels that would be leveraged to implement successful electrification programs.
Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and governing codes and standards

Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for senior management team.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Project)
PMP certification preferred but not required.
