Janssen Supply Group, LLC is part of the Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies.The Sr. Director, Pharm Digital, Data & Analytics owns and leads the establishment and acceleration of the Pharm Quality Digital and Data & Analytics strategy, including associated roadmap, investment budget, execution oversight and advancement of organizational digital capabilities.Strategy : The incumbent will be responsible for establishing a holistic strategy and operational plan to deploy fit for purpose digital capabilities which empower our employees with insights and transform the ways we serve our customers. Co-develops the strategy based on the E2E Pharm Quality segment business objectives, priorities from Pharm Quality functions (PQS, BRQC, PQM, JSCQ, CQ, Controlled Substances) and the overall Q&C Strategy and with the Enterprise Quality & Compliance Emerging Technologies & Solutions team. Develops a deep understanding and empathy of the stakeholder and customer landscape and understands & defines the voice of the user, as well as accounts for the interdependencies with underlying processes and transactional tools, and their respective strategies/roadmaps. Develops risk evaluation AI and reports that will be provided to Sr. Management including EC.Roadmap : The position holder will identify a roadmap to deliver on the strategy and will deploy innovative practices and tools that help the organization to successfully transform their quality operations and significantly increase their velocity, through digital technologies that automate and simplify processes and data and analytics that produce meaningful and predictive insights. Works to align priorities across all Functions in Pharm Q&C, and partner with leadership to ensure Functional roadmaps are harmonized with the overall Pharm Q&C Digital Roadmap, and any projects representing redundancy or conflict are addressed. Ensures alignment of the Pharma Q&C digital roadmap with the Janssen businesses IT/Digital roadmaps.Investment budget : Manages the Pharm Q&C digital investment portfolio including prioritization activities. Builds robust business cases for all roadmap initiatives that clearly define value drivers and overall impact to the business. Validates delivery of value and ensure it is realized as defined in the individual business case.Execution : Champion and drive large strategic and complex projects, with executive visibility and many critical dependencies and is responsible to resource and execute in collaboration with Supply Chain Intelligent Automation, JJ Technology, Digital and Data Science, and Quality teams. This includes establishing, leading and/or directing project teams in the automation and digitalization of core Quality & Compliance processes, application of data analytics to anticipate risk and generate insights, as well as boosting the digital experience. Deploys and/or facilitates deployment of digital solutions into the Pharm Quality sector and coordinates sector-specific projects. Additionally, ensure that a lifecycle management approach is defined and in-place to sustain any deployed assets, and assure that impact of future changes is identified, assessed and actioned.Digital Capability Building - Leads the establishment and deployment of a Digital Curriculum for the Pharm Quality organization and is responsible for significantly raising the digital quotient of the organization.As this organization is expanded in the future, the incumbent build and lead a strong team, distributed across multiple locations - Actively encourage the development of the managers and staff while continuously elevating performance, technical depth, product management results, and people management as new talent is hired. Define and build metrics and KPIs to continuously monitor and analyze roadmap durability, backlog health, velocity, quality, throughput, solution performance and digital maturity. The incumbent will use this data to drive improvements and direct rhythm of business activities within the team and across Pharm to ensure end-to-end value creation.

Establish and manage resource allocation within team, oversee workload of the staff to ensure optimal utilization of resources. Set operational objectives for the team and ensures alignment with company, project team, departmental objectives. Drives and implements talent strategies in a standard, fair and transparent approach to ensure skills remain current to support business objectives. Lead a team of 3-5 direct reports, as well as indirectly lead a matrixed team of 4 connected to Pharma Quality, Q&C ET&S and technology/data science functionsQualificationsEducation:Required: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in technical/quantitative fieldPreferred: PhD / MBA / MSPreferred Area of Study: Science, Technology, Engineering, MathematicsYears of Related Experience:Required: 10 years of experience in Data, Analytics & Intelligent Automation for global processes and platforms in a regulated environmentPreferred: 10 years of experience from within a Pharmaceutical or other regulated healthcare environment.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong leader with the ability to establish clear strategy that can inspire others to deliver and influence to drive change across the organization

Experience in supporting Quality & Compliance organizations on their digital journey.

Appreciation of data products, platforms and technologies; business understanding of cloud computing, Data Science, and how they create impact in existing processes

Consistent track record of collaboration, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and across complex ecosystems

Exceptional communications skills (including articulating product vision, inspiring teams, and presenting to senior executives).

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills required

Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills required

Experience leading complex projects required

Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices required

Proven track record working in a global matrix environment required

People management experience required

Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Previous experience with budget, resource management and capacity planning preferred

Experience with implementation of Intelligent Automation/Digital Experience/Data Science projects

Cross sector Q&C leadership experience in at least two sectors

Operational experience

Process excellence certification (e.g. SixSigma, LEAN, or DEX green or black belt) strong sector AND enterprise mindset & strong business acumen

For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $275,000. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
