Marketing Coordinator – WyHy

Position Description

Manage the day‐to‐day marketing functions of the credit union. In working with an outside Agency, monitor all marketing programs, advertising campaigns, social media, promotions, delivery systems, and community service activities for compliance with credit union policies as well as external rules and regulations.

Coordinate production of media, advertising, and sales literature. Manage participation in community events, and production of marketing collateral. Assist in administration of promotions and employee sales programs. Evaluates promotions and data to assess needs and outcomes.

The successful candidate must…

  • Be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Have an outstanding ability to multi-task.

  • Have excellent project management skills: including managing time, prioritizing and keeping deadlines as well as maintaining knowledge of marketing and promotional methods, policies and procedures to effectively perform job duties.

  • Keep a professional appearance and positive attitude to establish and maintain effective business relationships with staff and vendors.

  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, and ensure quality while maintaining a high quantity output.

  • Communicate well – both verbally and in writing - with internal staff, outside Agency, vendors and local businesses.

  • Work with Leadership and outside Agencies to fulfill the marketing plan.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree in communications, marketing, public relations, advertising or related experience.

  • Prior financial industry marketing experience (Credit Union or bank) preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.

  • Experience with Adobe software applications and social media platforms.

  • Detail-oriented with strong skills in organization and project management.
