Provides excellent customer service and addresses concerns and questions accordingly. Assists the Operations Manager in audit, operational and training procedures concerning Teller operations. Responsible for all cash on premises. Involved in the training and supervision of tellers and the coordination of their duties. Maintains prescribed records and summaries of transactions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Operations Manager in coaching and directing a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet daily demands.

Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings and borrowing customers. Receive and process customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; sell Cashier's Checks to customers; transfer amounts from customer accounts as directed.

Balance cash drawer and daily transactions. Audit drawers of all other tellers as needed or directed by Operations Manager.

Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed, provide support for the department and branch managers in fulfilling customer requests and merchant verifications.

Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional look (i.e. dress, posture, attitude, etc.), positive outlook and behavior toward customers and co-workers.

Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.

Welcome customers and provide routine information concerning services and direct customers to appropriate department for specific information and service.

Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

About You QUALIFICATIONS:

Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

A high school degree or equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:

A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and regularly lifting cash box of up to 10 lbs. and coin bags up to 50 lbs on occasion.Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.What We Offer COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary is dependent upon relevant experience.
