What You Will Do:

  • Provide front line supervision of our maintenance team.
  • Develop and execute a maintenance program to avoid downtime and quality issues across a chemical manufacturing operation.
  • Maintain the maintenance budget while stewarding and managing the maintenance costs
  • Train and provide development opportunities for the maintenance team.
  • Manage and/or assist with equipment and capital project installation as required.
  • Utilize reliability knowledge as it pertains to mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, process control documentation, mechanical integrity methods, tools, equipment, repair, alteration and replacement of industrial process mechanical and instrumentation/electrical equipment.
  • Support Mechanical Integrity Program work and schedule
  • Track work requests and manage maintenance priorities
  • Ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Critical PM compliance items are completed
  • Ensure crafts capture pump failure data to assist with pump MTBF(Mean Time Between Failures) improvement efforts

Position Details:

  • Location: Evansville, WY

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Knowledge of plant equipment and systems
  • Basic theory and principles of industrial mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
  • Understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and process control documents.
  • Understand methods, materials, tools, equipment, and procedures used in the installation, maintenance, repair, alteration, replacement, and repair of industrial mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment and instrumentation.
  • Basic computer skills including: Word processing, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and calendar/organizer functions. Included, but not limited to MS Office Suite and other applicable databases (i.e. SAP).
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
  • The ability to develop new maintenance standard operating procedures based on manufacturers recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Project management skills
  • SAP and CMMS experience is a plus

Physical Demands:

  • Must have the ability Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 50 pounds chest high.
  • Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions.
  • Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talk and hear.
  • Must be capable of wearing a respirator
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
