    Summary

    About the position:

    This position will be assigned to Fall Hall Community Center on F. E. Warren AFB, WY.

    This position is considered Regular Full Time. The position is guaranteed 35 hours, but has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. As a Regular Full Time employee, you are eligible for leave and benefits. The starting pay for this position is set by Federal pay setting regulations at $16.00 per hour.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Responsible for managing the F.E. Warrant Community Center (CC) to include the Awake coffee shop.
    • Plans and coordinates the detail of recurring and non-recurring activities, special events, and joint community undertakings.
    • Schedules and publicizes community center activities.
    • Develops and executes programs for a variety of special interest groups associated with the military community.
    • Identifies the need for plans and conducts facility activities.
    • Performs general facility management duties.
    • May need to drive NAF vehicles in the performance of work duties.
    • Responsible for processing all paperwork related to inventory, purchasing, scheduling, payroll, personnel actions of coffee shop employees.
    • Ensures employees are trained.
    • Plans promotional activities and ensures they are marketed.
    • Required to serve as a barista as needed.
    • Ensures facility is maintained in a clean and neat manner and is secured when not in operation.
    • Implements food handling and customer service training.
    • Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints.
    • Manages Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) budget to actual expenses.
    • Plans budget for food and beverage items.
    • Reviews and endorses daily cash and inventory paperwork before it is turned in to the NAF accounting office.

    • This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
    • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and one every three years thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
    • The duties of this position meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Air Force policy for drug testing. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.     Qualifying Experience:

    • Must have experience which demonstrates the ability to manage and provide work direction to employees.
    • Requires experience in making specialty coffee recipes and serving food and beverages.
    • Requires experience in cash handling procedures and sales operations.
    • Must obtain a food handlers certificate.
    • Must have practical experience in developing, planning, organizing, and carrying out projects related to one or more recreational programs.
    • Must have practical experience and knowledge of goals, principles, methods and techniques of recreation services and ability to perform financial, program, facility, inventory, and personnel management.
    • Must valid driver's license and provide a current driving record.
    • Must be 18 years of age.
    • Must be able to work varied shifts to include evenings and weekends.

    Education

    Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
