Financial Management Technician

If you are interested in receiving training in the area of finances, accounting, budget reporting, and spend your day in an office environment, Financial Management Technician is a great stepping stone to further training as an accountant or financial planner when in the civilian world. These Soldiers make sure that money gets where it needs to go, that everyone gets paid on time, and that the Army's resources are being spent according to protocol.

Duties

  • Handling commitment and obligations documents
  • Accounting and budget systems.
  • Receives and processes treasury checks for payment
  • Maintains disbursing files and prepares financial reports.
  • Prepare and compute travel vouchers and process pay documents.
  • Review contracts, invoices and receiving reports

Position Requirements:

  • Attend Basic and advanced training (Paid)
  • Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
  • No Experience Required

Benefits:

-Basic Qualifications:

  • Age - 17 to 34 years old
  • Education - Current Senior in High School(HS), HS Diploma, GED or higher
  • Citizenship - U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident
  • Submit to background and medical screening
  • Must meet qualifications to enlist or commission into the Army
