Credit Analyst

Rocky Mountain Bank is seeking an experienced credit analyst - reporting to the senior credit analyst - to be ideally based in Jackson, Wyoming. Note that the ability to work remotely may be considered for certain candidates. Major responsibilities will include:

• preparation of detailed credit memorandums used to seek approval from the bank’s internal credit committee and board of directors;

• analysis of borrower and prospective borrower financial statements and tax returns;

• identification and subsequent detailed mitigation of risk, e.g. credit, business, counterparty, etc.;

• communication with lending staff and internal stakeholders regarding analytical conclusions;

• assistance in the structuring of bank credit facilities;

• credit administration, including required loan covenant calculations and the documented review of associated credit relationships;

• detailed monitoring associated with outstanding construction loans;

• ad hoc projects as assigned.

Ideal candidate qualifications include:

• a four-year college degree with a preferred major in Business/Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field;

• CFA, MBA, or similar certification/degree (CPA, CRM, etc.) preferred, or progress towards obtaining;

• demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of software applications generally;

• a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry or corporate finance, preferably in a credit analyst or similar analytical role;

• excellent ability to clearly articulate and defend analysis, both written and verbally;

• proven ability to build professional relationships across an organization.
