As an HRBP, you will provide HR business partnership and insight to employees and management team in assigned client groups (currently, approximately 500 employees), and support employment matters within client groups as well as broader global HR initiatives. Fluency in English is essential. In order to be considered for this role, you must have current experience as an HRBP in a growing, global organization in the technology industry.

LOCATION: This role can be remote in the Central Midwest or East Coast

Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR business partnership to assigned client groups as primary HR resource, including analysis of key business metrics, HR data, and insights necessary for decision-making
  • Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions; provide access to appropriate training and development initiatives (both online and classroom), including coaching and programs (in partnership with HR leadership and the L&D team)

  • Promote and drive employee engagement initiatives (action plans and follow up)

  • Advise and support managers and employees on all HR policies and procedures (including on-boarding, performance management, organization changes, corrective action, termination)

  • Provide support, advocacy and oversight of corporate HR initiatives

  • Ensure inquiries and issues are handled in a timely, effective, and compliant manner with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality

  • Engage and support Talent Acquisition team in timely fulfillment of staffing requirements and alignment of staffing needs to client-group budgets

  • Manage and implement ad hoc HR projects and programs to support overall business objectives

  • Assist on occasion with global HR issues that arise in other locations or countries (<10% of time)

Qualifications:

  • Must have current experience as an HRBP in a growing, global organization in the technology industry.

  • Relevant education (typically through a university degree with emphasis in Human Resources) and 7–10 years of progressive experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent; professional certifications a plus

  • Practical knowledge of all functional disciplines of traditional Human Resources management (Employee Relations, Performance Management, Total Rewards, Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition)
  • Practical and solid knowledge of all applicable HR regulations in North America, particularly in the US

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive materials and information

  • Strong understanding of and commitment to an environment of respect and teamwork
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, particularly in the use of Excel and Tableau to report and analyze key business data and metrics

  • Excellent skills in building working relationships and rapport with employees and the wider team

  • Highly organized and able to manage to deadlines with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic, high-energy environment

  • Comfortable working as an individual contributor and collaborating with a dispersed team across multiple states and countries
