The Chief of Security oversees security for all Grand Teton Lodge Company facilities, and is responsible for security officers located at Jackson Lake Lodge and Colter Bay Village. With support of the team, the Chief of Security is expected to compile and maintain all reports regarding guest or employee accidents and incidents.

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Basic knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations and the Wyoming State Statutes as they apply to the Grand Teton Lodge Company, its employees, visitors and guests.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, law enforcement agencies, and the general public

  • Previous supervisory experience in either public law enforcement or private security.

  • Current Red Cross Standard First Aid, A.E.D., and C.P.R. certifications are mandatory.

  • Ability to type and prepare memoranda for GTLC Management.

  • Must have a valid driver's license

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field

  • Experience with security, loss prevention, risk management, fire and life safety, fire protection systems, alarm systems, and investigations.

  • Experience with emergency situation management

  • Ability to prioritize and multi task
