- Provide high quality case management services for agency clients.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients that promote ongoing discussions about individual needs, goals, and objectives, enumeration of barriers to professional and personal growth, identify progress and measure success.
- Administer and conduct appropriate assessment measures, including ongoing client dialog, that establish objective educational and career related needs.
- In partnership with the client, develop and update Individual Employment Plan (IEP), utilizing objective assessment criteria and relevant client input.
- Secure necessary services for clients, utilizing, as able, organizations or providers with expertise or heightened capacity.
- Maintain confidentiality of client-specific information.
- Implement and monitor workforce investment activities and other appropriate programming within area.
- Assure that assigned programs meet qualitative and quantitative objectives.
- Perform role in continuous improvement and quality assurance measures.
- Maintain close contact with community partners and stakeholders.
- Assure placement of clients in employment that meets or exceeds the standards established in the program goals.
- Carry out agency services consistent with applicable regulations, codes, and laws in accordance with appropriate legal and ethical standards.
- Perform initial intake and eligibility determinations for prospective clients.
- Assist clients in navigating the workforce investment network, including One-Stop centers and agency resource areas and monitor their progress to determine areas where additional guidance is needed.
- Provide clear and concise information to clients regarding program options and customer rights.
- Conduct appropriate initial assessments of clients and identify major needs and known goals.
- Perform follow-up at specified intervals and share information with appropriate individuals.
- Perform administrative support functions that enhance the agency?s capability to meet objectives.
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls, providing assistance as able.
- Greet clients, visitors, and guests and respond to inquiries as indicated.
- Open incoming correspondence and route appropriate individuals.
- Perform routine filing and data transfer functions.
- Employee will possess a high school diploma or GED. An associate degree from a college or university preferred. Must have experience in employment and training programs as well as issues related to migrant and seasonal farmworkers.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Must pass criminal background check and is subject to the agency’s drug and alcohol testing program.
- Extensive travel required in the area; must be able to travel outside project area as assigned.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record, as approved by the agency’s vehicle insurance carrier.
