Description:

Western Wyoming Beverages is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant /Human Relations Technician (AA/HRT) at our Rock Springs office. The AA/HRT will be the primary lead on organizing and implementing the company’s human resource strategy. The AA/HRT will also serve as the company’s administrative assistance with duties assigned by the President to assist the senior leadership of the company.

The position will have the primary responsibility of coordinating WWB’s employee hiring and onboarding, coordination of the company’s human resources software, maintenance of employee files, benefit enrollment, vacations scheduling, coordination of annual employee evaluation program, administration of WWB’s online training platforms, employee exit interviews, managing employee communication and employment verifications. The AA/HRT is responsible for employee engagement and outreach, including routine employee communication, employee incentive programs and employee engagement events. The AA/HRT will administer new-candidate recruitment and will design strategies that ensure WWB is attracting top talent. The AA/HRT will also design and administer a comprehensive employee retention program with a focus on building our team, advancing an effective culture, and ensuring that WWB is a preferred place to work in the region. The AA/HRT will also assist the company’s operations division with WWB’s safety programs including OSHA and DOT compliance, administering worker’s compensation compliance, pre-employment and quarterly random drug testing and the forklift training program. The AA/HRT will assist with maintaining all DOT driver qualification files, drug testing, annual MVR checks, IFTA tax calculation and reporting and daily driver logs. The AA/HRT will handle routine and advanced duties for the President of the company including organizing files, creating correspondence, preparing reports and documents, managing calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings, taking meeting notes, sorting mail, and other general team member support. This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive of the entire position and other responsibilities will be assigned. A successful candidate will work beyond their core job functions to develop the role of Human Resources within the organization and assist the senior management of the company.

This position will require a strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders of the business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer and customer service skills, be extremely dependable, work well as part of a team and have the desire to go beyond the job description to develop and implement strategies to improve our business.
