RWW is seeking a diligent financial analyst with previous experience in building efficient frameworks for asset valuation and/or managing the financial functions of a company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work hard and grow their career alongside industry experts that enjoy balancing their passion for the energy business with Wyoming’s outdoor lifestyle, but Denver or Houston satellite office may be considered for the right candidate.Job Duties: Work closely with executive management to financially model investments/acquisitions;Work closely with executive management to come up with a process to value acreage across 1M+ acres on a section-by-section basis and update those valuations with scripts or other automated processes;Participate in the implementation and design of software solutions as they relate to finance and valuations, particularly within Salesforce;Work closely with executive management to establish budgets and track the performance of the company;Accountable for managing 3rd party accounting services partner and interface with the company;Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasting;Setup wells, decks, and owners as they come in from acquisitions/new drills;Compensation: Competitive annual salary and benefits with profit-sharing/equity incentives.Location: Position will be based out of Company’s new headquarters in Sheridan, WY.Required Competencies: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics;Strong familiarity with oil and gas environment and activity;Understanding of tax and financial reporting to GAAP standards;Strong financial modeling skills required;Data management and statistical evaluation experience;Detail-oriented and process-driven; adept at the learning and application of new software technologies;Ability to work in a faster-than-average environment and manage specialized work efficiently;High degree of initiative, self-motivation, accountability and independent judgment;Energetic, empowers others, and shares ownership and accountability for project outcomes;Focus on priorities, setting objectives and goals, measuring performance and evaluating results;Growth Opportunities: Right candidate will have various opportunities for promotion and increased equity incentives with successive mineral funds/ E&P cycles.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:Financial Analysis: 5 years (Required)Financial Modeling: 5 years (Required)Application Question:On a scale of 1-10, 10 being a Wallstreet analyst, how good are your modeling skills?Additional Compensation:BonusesWork Location:One locationBenefits:Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceRetirement planPaid time off
