The Adjunct Business Instructor is a part-time position in the Business Education Department and will be actively engaged in education to complement the current business and administrative assistant degree programs. Available courses are:

  • Introduction to Business
  • Marketing
  • Management
  • Economics

Job Duties Include:

Develop and prepare business education course.

Participate in Business Education department functions and activities that promote the business and entrepreneurship programs and Sheridan College to prospective students, parents, and other interested parties.

Reports To Director of Business Education

Education/Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in a business or economics academic discipline.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge, skills and ability to teach courses in business, support improvement in business writing and mathematics.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements

Classroom teaching and office setting.

Experience

Teaching experience, preferably at the undergraduate level

Work, research, and direct experience in business. Experience in various industries valued.

Experience working with industry, community groups, businesses, and educational institutions.
