The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing a high level of executive/administrative support functions for the CEO, to include:

  • Providing administrative support functions for the Board of Directors as directed
  • Providing direct supervision to administrative support staff in Johnson and Sheridan Counties
  • Preparing reports and documents utilizing spreadsheets, databases, or applicable computer system applications
  • Conducting research, compiling data, and preparing reports for consideration and presentation by or for executives, committees, Advisory Board, and Board of Directors as directed
  • Attending meetings as assigned, recording proceedings and preparing draft minutes
  • Performing general office duties, such as ordering supplies, preparing work orders, and maintaining records management database systems
  • Organize and/or assist in the preparation, submission, and monitoring of State contract and funding applications, grant applications, site review documents, and other reports and releases aaccording to established schedules as directed
  • Assure confidentiality is maintained in all written and verbal communications and dissemination of information
  • Demonstrate flexible scheduling to meet needs of the Executive Director, organization and the County offices served
  • Assure the application of, and adherence to, all safety standards and requirements of the agency
  • Understand and apply the principles of diversity in all interactions with office personnel, clients, and the general public
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA in all interactions related to the agency, i.e., any records or client related information
  • Assure availability to actively participate in staff meetings, agency meetings, scheduled supervision, and performance review processes

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualifications include a high school diploma, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years performing high level executive/administrative support functions
  • One (1) year of which included direct supervision of administrative support staff.
  • Valid Driver's License Required
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communication are required, as well as advanced proficiency in computer applications.

Hours:

Hours generally are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
