The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office and its various departments. Their duties include communicating with department heads, relaying important information or policy changes from upper management and implementing incentives to enhance employee productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee the work of all office employees to ensure they work productivity and meet deadlines and company standards.
· Counseling any employees struggling in their roles.
· Answering telephone calls and emails from members and directing them to relevant staff.
· Manage and utilize a teller drawer as needed when short staffed.
· Recruit and select quality applicants for vacancies, ensuring that the Credit Union is adequately staffed with competent and efficient employees.
· Organizing maintenance companies to keep the office clean and safe and ensure its appliances are in good working order.
· Manage and recommend the purchase of needed equipment and supplies.
· Monitor office activity, including number of transactions, teller errors, new accounts, cash audits of teller drawers/vault, and teller area organization.
· Manage the office security and safety of the branch according to policies and procedures that are in place.
· Work with our BSA/Compliance officer to ensure that the branch is following federal, state, and local regulations.
· Complete yearly BSA and any other training that is assigned by the BSA/Compliance Officer.
· Conduct quarterly audits on all cash drawers according to policy and procedures.
· Report Office progress to senior management and work with them to improve operations and procedures.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· High School Diploma, as a minimum.
· 3 Years successful management experience.
· Calculator, computer and typing skills.
· Neat Professional appearance.
· Member Service experience and skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Organized and Detailed work ethic.
Additional Notes
On the job training will be provided for SFCU-specific policies and procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
