Working collaboratively with the other HR Generalist and the HR Team, this position will manage, organize, and implement comprehensive HR management programs that include, but are not limited to employee relations, project management, investigations, policy development, HRIS database management, data integrity and analysis, developing and generating reports, and providing support to end users. The position will provide support at the manager level for employee relations, coaching, and performance management to enhance employee engagement and retention. Serves as the technical point of contact for Kronos data workflows, administrative system requests, data processing, and maintaining user system security levels and upgrades. Will act as the EEO-4 and Affirmative Action Plan Coordinator and work with management and the administrative team to collect all necessary data to submit to the OFCCP. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity; applies skills and knowledge in multiple functions. The incumbent is the resource for others in the resolution of problems and issues within assigned area. Assignments are given in the form of broad goals or areas of responsibility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESEmployee Relations

Coaches and assists managers with employee relations issues, ensuring proper procedures are followed related to discipline, termination, and leave activities.

Minimizes financial exposure by promptly investigating, documenting, and proposing resolution to employee grievances, and other employment issues.

Manages and provides early intervention and support for the resolution of a variety of complex employee relations issues, including complaints of sexual harassment and discrimination.

Recommends initiatives to maintain a positive culture; conducts exit and stay interviews for all staff below the manager level; develops consistent metrics, trend analysis, and management reports; and develops and maintains connection and visibility with the employees.

Supports management with compliance in all areas of employment law (State and Federal), including ADA issues, leaves of absence, and EEO. Documents ADA interactive process by conducting routine audits of company practices and keeping current to changes and new legal requirements.

Assists with educating employees on company policy and procedural issues.

Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation.

Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations on an as needed basis.

Monitors industry developments in the area of human resources; analyzes proposed state and federal law, regulations, and court decisions for their impact on company human resources practices.

Assists in developing new HR policies, practices and procedures in collaboration with the Manager, Quality Services, Legal and other stakeholders.

HR GeneralistProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.

Ensures compliance with evaluation and competency requirements.

Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase engagement, productivity and retention.

Assists the HR team with onboarding and new employee orientation to ensure the process is efficient and effective in the retention of new staff.

Project ManagementActs as a Project Lead on HR projects, HR systems/data projects including planning, scheduling, and status reporting to ensure successful implementation.

Directs and coordinate with various business partners to ensure translation of project goals, objectives and requirements align to department’s objectives.

HRIS AnalystReviews, analyzes and accurately processes all HR and payroll related data, including new hires, terminations, wage changes, transfers and other business related changes.

Maintains the HRIS database consisting of pay grades, job codes, position codes, departments, benefit plans, premiums and contributions of benefit plans.

Analyzes payroll and hours worked reports on a monthly basis to track maintained eligibility status for FT employees; partnering with other HR team members to conduct regular audits of exempt and non-exempt employee status, job analysis, salary analysis.

Provides HRIS support to HR, Payroll, and employees.

Maintains security, employee and manager roles and the self-service portals for managers and employees.

Ensures data integrity of the HRIS system through audit, review, updates and maintenance.

Assists with the design and building of reports from the payroll/HR system on a regular basis for dashboard review of HR related metrics (e.g., FTE, Turnover, Exempt and Non-Exempt, AA tracking, staff ratios and etc.). Create, run, maintain and distribute routine and ad hoc reports.

Responsible for the collection and record keeping of EEO/Affirmative Action data on all applicants and employees in the HRIS.

Develops and submit an Affirmative Action Plan to the OFCCP in a timely manner. Compile and submit bi-annual EEO-4 report.

Maintains thorough documentation and organization strategies.

Communicates accurately, clearly and concisely to senior leadership, managers, coworkers and staff.

Maintains a good working relationship and provides support within the department and with staff in other departments.

Attends position-specific meetings, prepares reports and provides recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.

Is a team player; assists the HR team and works on special projects as needed.Engages in other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience/LicensesBachelors’ degree preferred; Masters’ degree a plus.

Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience.

Previous experience as an HR Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist with employee relations experience, preferred.

Two years of recent experience using an HRIS, preferred.

Two years of experience using query tools and report writing.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Professional Human Resources Certification, preferred.
