The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) located at the Sheridan, WY, VA Medical Center is seeking part-time Retail Sales Associates to provide quality service to our nation's veterans.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in daily interactions with customers, communication, listening, empathy, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive attitude in a friendly manner.Operates cash registers, and must be able to maintain a change fund and prepare daily cash and sales reports.Assists in ensuring optimum stock availability by taking periodic stock counts, post merchandise control records and inform management of customer requests and complaints.Experience: Excellent customer service skillsAbility to read and interpret instructions and perform simple calculationsMust be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds unassisted.Ability to work evenings and weekendsVisit us at https://www.vacanteen.va.gov/for more information about the Veterans Canteen ServiceJob Type: Part-timeSalary: $10.00 /hourExperience:Retail Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
