A non-profit research firm with over 40 years of experience conducting program evaluations is looking for qualified people to administer reading tests to preschool children. This is a short-term position that would be ideal for graduate students, educators, or for any responsible person with a background in education, psychology, or a related discipline. Experience in early childhood education and/or testing young children is a plus. Others may be considered depending on experience. Successful candidates must pass an employment background check to be considered for the job.
If hired, Test Administrators (Test AdminsĀ) will be compensated for completing a test protocol review course. After a successful protocol review, Test Admins would conduct one-on-one educational testing with children and their families during selected weekdays and Saturdays in June and July based on their availability. In addition, test administrators will be responsible for entering assessment data in a secure database.
We are looking for responsible people who can work independently, follow research and testing protocols, work closely with senior staff, have flexible schedules, and are comfortable interacting with preschool aged children and their families.
Testing locations may be in Cheyenne, Laramie, Green River, Evanston, Kemmerer, and/or Gillette.
Preference will be given to candidates who are:
Teachers or other education professionals (credentialed educators a bonus)
Experienced with administering standardized tests of cognitive development
Experienced in working with preschool aged children
Have flexible schedules
Qualifications Needed:
Must have access to a reliable automobile, a valid drivers license and auto insurance (proof required for job)
Must have convenient and reliable access to the internet
At least one reference from a previous employer
Must be available at least two days a week, including some Saturdays
Must pass an employment background check
