The Project Specialist provides task and project support for the National Account Coordinators, including analysis and preparation of demand planning and season forecast review, product transfers, item administration. Serves as a high level, account back up to provide continuity of services to National Account Sales, with the ability to solve grievances for customers (including credit related issues). This position supports our Canadian National Accounts Essential Function: Analyzes and prepares demand forecasts and seasonal forecast reviews that provide purchasing teams guidance on customer-directed initiatives. Conducts internal item maintenance reviews and provides direction to the core data team in order to plan for long and/or short term business objectives. Provides item listing submission Analyzes slow moving, dead and obsolete inventory Generates and formats reports Performs item transition customer impact analysis Maintains Order Guides Posts customer updates on internal google site Provides account coverage in absence of National Account Coordinator, investigates and has the authority to resolve escalated customer issues by directing customer care teams, purchasing and finance on credit issuance. Serves as the point of escalation for customer complaints Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to provide high level customer service in a fast paced environment Excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills. Ability to problem solve and develop solutions to a variety of complex business issues Ability to balance customer needs within the framework of Gordon Food Service business practices.
