Do you enjoy working with your hands and take pride in what you do? Do your friends and family come to you with car questions all the time? Do you have a passion for the automotive industry and would you want to make INCREDIBLE money being a part of it? Are you looking for a place to start a career and learn a special set of skills that will be of value to you for the rest of your life? If the answer to these questions is yes and you are ready to take your professional career to the next level, then we are looking for YOU!

About us:

AAMCO transmissions is the industry leader in specialized drive train repairs since our inception in 1957. Although we do work on the most complicated part of the vehicle we do offer the full spectrum of repairs to our customer as a part of our total car care service. We offer competitive salary, bonuses, holidays, and incentive plans that are win-win.

What were looking for:

The ideal candidate is someone who has a passion for automobiles and working on them. Someone with a mechanical mind and strong accountability is a must. Long term experience is NOT REQUIRED! Above all else, we are looking for somebody who is COACHABLE and willing to learn. We have experts on staff who are ready to mold your skills into becoming a master level technician. It is strongly preferred but not required that you have an investment in personal tools.

Job Description:

The beginning of your career will start with you working on less complex repairs or services and then working your way up on to more complex jobs as you are trained from the master technicians that are already in place. This will include watching and helping on more complex jobs, so you will be able to complete them by yourself when your skill set is to that level. The mission is to take your skill set and enhance it through hands on experience to get you into a B, and eventually A-level technician status. You will be responsible for keeping your work place orderly/clean. At times you will be asked to lift parts weighing upwards of 50 Lb.s. It is a requirement to be in the shop ready to work on time for our regular business hours.

How to apply:

If you have the ambition and belief in yourself to take this step and begin your path to becoming a Master Technician, please contact us by email or phone. If you dont have a resume to attach just email us your contact information and we will get in touch with you.
