Stotz Equipment - John Deere Dealership - Riverton, Wyoming

Our Riverton, Wyoming location is looking for an experienced Diesel Ag Mechanic/ Service Technician to perform maintenance and repair on large agriculture equipment.

What You'll Do:

This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional and timely manner. Daily duties will include daily customer contact, diagnosing, troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and making repairs.

What It Takes:

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a mechanic, working on agriculture equipment

Must have experience working on specific agriculture equipment, such as tractors and combines

Must own and maintain their own tools

Basic computer skills

Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Have and maintain a clean driving record

Able to work a varying work schedule/shift and be flexible to respond to after-hour calls

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment in the field

Excellent oral communication and written skills

Strong organizational skills

Preferred:

5 years experience as a certified John Deere Equipment technician, proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of John Deere equipment
