Performs repairs and maintenance in plant and office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper maintenance and repair. Respond to a variety of problems in a timely manner, specifically prioritizing issues that may cause delays in tissue processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair all building systems in accordance with established operating procedures, safety practices, and company policies.

Monitor preventative maintenance schedules & weekly reports and ensure work activities are completed within scheduled timeframe.

Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, and hydro mechanical equipment.

Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective equipment.

Use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper maintenance and repair.

Complete associated documentation of all repair and maintenance, activity and ensure information is accurately and concurrently recorded. Â Â Â

May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

May be required to work on call shifts on a rotating basis. Will carry On call Phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

May work with outside contractors on projects pertaining to facilities maintenance and improvements.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

2 years experience in facility related maintenance including, minor repairs and preventive maintenance programs, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Applications

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of clean room protocol and or experience in a regulated healthcare type environment.

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 45 lbs (10lbs continuously), bend, stand, twist, push, pull, manual dexterity, visual acuity, repetitive motion of wrist and shoulder.

Will be exposed to florescent lighting, dust, fumes, chemicals, biohazardous materials, Aseptic environment, working in confined spaces, wearing personal protective equipment, and sharp tools/instruments.Â

Monday-Thursday

Friday - Monday

Paid Relocation:Â $5000
